Is the desktop app free?
The desktop app is a free download. You need a Dribble Books account (Free, Micro, Starter, Professional, or Enterprise plan) to sign in and use the app. All features available in your plan work on desktop.
Do I need internet to use the desktop app?
No! The desktop app supports full offline mode. You can create invoices, add contacts, and manage products without internet. Everything syncs automatically when you reconnect.
Does the desktop app auto-update?
Yes. The app checks for updates on launch and every 4 hours. When a new version is available, you'll be prompted to download and install it. Updates are downloaded in the background.
Is my data safe on the desktop app?
Absolutely. Login credentials are stored in your system's keychain (macOS Keychain / Windows Credential Manager). All data is encrypted in transit via TLS and synced to your secure cloud account.
Can I use the same account on desktop, mobile, and web?
Yes! Your account works across all platforms. Sign in with the same email and password on any device. All invoices, contacts, and settings sync in real-time.
What's the difference between the web app and desktop app?
The desktop app adds offline mode, system tray integration, keyboard shortcuts, native file system access (auto-save exports), and native print dialog. The core billing features are identical.
